Review of ‘’from the get go’’
The sound that she delivers in this sound reminded me of Eric Bennett but the female version. With a lot of class and soul embedded in this song, this song is definitely one of her best. Tess Henley composed the song herself and her fans were very impressed with the song. Overall, the song is very musical and enjoyable. The video for the song is also great where she visually illustrates the direction of this song. Her character in the song is someone who is in love with a bad boy but she decides to walk away in the end but of course she does that with her bubbly and fun personality.
The song was produced by Dice raw, who also produced other songs in this album. In this song, Tess Henley shows her excellent vocal singing skills and she also proves like she is the rest of us. She tried to keep it together when she finds her crush, but of course she is hesitant to speak to him.
A brief introduction about Tess Henley:
Tess Henley was boring in Seattle and began playing the piano when she was three years old. When she was give, she began dissecting numerous harmonies that a lot of people found very difficult, including her mother who was a singer. She later on began honing her skills by opening for singers such as Jill Scott. She also had a couple of solo shows that resulted in her building a reputation as a writer for songs as well. She won several awards such as the independent music awards and the song competition done by soultracks.com for her first single that was released ‘’Boy in the window’’. This was the first song in her EP that was released during 2011, The Appetizer which also received great reviews all over the world.
