Las Vegas has always been known to bring forth the best shows, the city is prone to give fans the best entertainment in the year 2014 as well. The plan to setup the stage with hardcore rock stars like Slash, Vince Neil and Alice Cooper are all set to initiate the biggest classic rock concert of this year. The stars will lead a fundraiser show taking place in the heart of Las Vegas.
The lists of performers are still in process although some of the biggest names of rock music have been confirmed. Slash, Neil and Cooper are just the beginning of a stellar line-up aimed to aid in research for finding a cure for Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) this year.
The show being a charity function has continued, rock music has always been a major source of charitable activities, a lot of famous rock stars have been labelled as the most generous funders to the charitable organizations. An event of this scale will contribute immensely to a research that has been over news and since quite a while, and for that matter the organizers are putting up the most wanted performers to attract the most number of fans from all over the world. Besides the rockers already mentioned a few confirmed artists to perform live are Sammy Hagar, Todd Rundgren, John Dolmayan (from System of a Down), JD Fortune (former INXS frontman) and Rickey Medlocke the Sin City Sinners.The rock show will be held at the “Keep Memory Alive Center” in Las Vegas and the date given out is February 27, 2014.
The benefit is in the advantage of celebrities as well, that rock show also welcomes and puts Chef Kerry Simon on the highlight with his way of supporting the cause and the fight against MSA. His expertise of the event will also include an evening filled with fancy drinks like artisan cocktails, exquisite wine and creative tastes prepared by himself and other celebrity chefs like Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Daniel Boulud, Rick Moonen, Charlie Palmer, Kim Canteenwalla, Michael Mina, Wylie DuFresne, Grant MacPherson, Mark Tarbell, Justin Nilson and Megan Romano. The fans would also be given opportunity to contribute to the appetite session.
The idea of the event has created a lot of hype and the audience is pumped to take a full part in the biggest rock session of the year so far. The event is being called the Las Vegas Benefit.
