Four siblings; Jim, Sharon, Caroline, and Andrea Corr join together to form an Irish band named as “The Corrs”. Their parents used to play as a band named Sound Affair and used to bring their kids to their performances in local pubs. Encouraged by their parents, they developed liking for pursuing their careers in music industry. They are not specific with any single music genre and produce their own blend by mixing rock with traditional Celtic Irish folk themes.

The group includes the following Corr siblings living in Dundalk, Ireland:
She is the lead vocalist in the group, tin whistle.
She plays the violin and is also a vocalist.
The specialist behind the drums, the piano, the percussion and she is also good with vocals.
The guy who knows all about playing the guitar and keyboards and yes he is also a very good vocalist.
Released Albums – Reaching the Top
The Corrs are famous for their music because their released albums have been sold very well. We are referring here to their 5 released albums to which we can add numerous other singles which have reached platinum in a lot of countries across the world. The most famous album is entitled Talk on Corners. The album has become famous for achieving the multi-platinum status in Australia. It was also very well received in the UK where it was selected as the best- selling album in 1998.
Another album, Forgiven, Not Forgotten, took number two spot in the UK album charts at the same year the previous album made it to the top.
They Have Created Magic through Their Music
The Corrs is the second band after the great Beatles to have achieved the amazing performance of holding the top 2 positions in the UK album charts on the same time. Their third album has also been a great success as it was announced number one in 17 countries across the globe. From 1995 to 1999, they got unforeseen international fame. They have been signed by the Atlantic records after being chosen by the famous David Foster, in front of whom they had the privilege of performing and being highly appreciated.
The Corrs have had the chance to be involved in amazing events where they could perform next to other amazing musicians. In 1998, they were invited to perform during the Pavarotti and Friends for the Children of Liberia charity concert that was followed by people all around the world. In 1999, they won a Brit Award for The Best International Band, an award that was wished for by many famous bands that were popular then. They were also invited to perform live during the MTV’s Unplugged Event.
