Previous Performances

The three members of Black Sabbath have always been outstanding performers, giving more than 2,000 performances. They have performed in many events and tours. In 2012, a special package tour began titled “Black Sabbath Reunion Tour”, which will be continued in 2014. It was basically a tour in which all members will perform together. In 2012, they performed in different festivals such as “Download Festival 2012”. In 2008, they went on a tour to different states of the USA, along with few other artists. In June 2007, they performed in an event “Graspop Metal Meeting 2007”. In 1983, the band arranged to perform on the “Born Again Tour”.

Black Sabbath was created in 1968, in Birmingham. The band had four members Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward and Ozzy Osbourne. Bill has now left the band. The genre offered by the band is heavy metal. Initially, when the band’s name was not even Black Sabbath, it had a few other members too. Its name was Earth, but then was changed to Black Sabbath. The band’s name was decided through a story of a horror movie by which they were inspired. The band has worked in association with worthy labels such as Sanctuary and IRS. MTV ranked them as the “Greatest Metal Band” of all time. The band has been honored to win two Grammy Awards for their albums. The uniqueness of their music lies in the gloomy style, which they try to depict through their sensational lyrics and dimly music. Tony and Butler are the ones who write lyrics for the band. Osbourne works with melodies and vocals.
